This easy recipe will ensure that you never have to make a store-run for hot fudge sundae sauce again!  This is a recipe I have adapted from the 1940’s and your family will love it.  The best news? It stores beautifully for sundae fun all summer long.

Homemade 5 Minute Hot Fudge Sauce | Mila Martinico

INGREDIENTS

1 Pinch of Salt

1 Cup of Sugar

1/2 Cup of Cocoa Powder

2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch

1 ¼ Cup of Water

2 Tablespoons of Butter

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all of your dry ingredients and mix together.

  2. Add in 1 ¼ cup of water

  3. On the stovetop, on medium heat, stir it regularly for five minutes until it starts to simmer.

  4. Add in 2 tablespoons of butter and a splash of vanilla.

  5. Stir until your butter is melted and take it off the heat.

  6. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
