SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS

10 slices of Brioche Bread or 1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Rolls

10 Eggs

1/2 cup - 1 stick of Butter melted + Extra to butter the baking dish.

2 cups total of Gruyère and Swiss shredded

10 oz of Black Forest ham cut up

10 oz of Turkey cut up

1 Teaspoon of Salt

1 Teaspoon of Dijon Mustard

2 cups of Whole Milk

Powdered Sugar to garnish

Blackberry Jam to garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Butter a 9x9 or 9x12 pan, depending on what you have and how thick you’d like your slices.

  2. Rip up 10 slices of brioche bread of 1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Rolls into a bowl.  Combine your 2 cups of cheese, 10 oz of chopped Ham and 10 oz of chopped Turkey into your bread bowl and mix.

  3. Once your bread mixture is combined, pack it into your buttered dish and press down.

  4. Melt 1 stick of butter on the stove.

  5. While your butter is melting, combine 2 cups of Whole Milk with 1 teaspoon of Dijon Mustard, 1 teaspoon of Salt and 10 eggs. Whisk until completely smooth.

  6. Pour your wet ingredients evenly over the pan with the bread mixture.

  7. Pour your 1/2 cup of melted butter evenly over the entire pan.

  8. Wrap the dish in saran wrap and stick it in the fridge overnight.

  9. The next morning, remove the saran wrap, wrap the dish in foil and pop it into a cold oven.  Turn the oven on to 350° and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil at the 40 minute mark and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is bubbled and golden brown.

  10. After it is baked, plate each slice with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a little bit of jam, I used blackberry!

Buon Appetito!
