INGREDIENTS

2 Sourdough Bread Slices

1 TBSP Softened Butter

1 Tsp of Olive Oil

1 Tsps Fig Jam

4 slices of thinly sliced Prosciutto

6 slices of thinly sliced Brie

2 TBSP Honey

1 pinch of Smoked Paprika

1 pinch of Peperoncino

1 pinch of Salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Generously butter two thick slices of bread. I prefer sourdough but you can use whatever you like. I recommend a structured, thicker bread.

  2. In a pan, on low heat, drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil and place your bread, buttered side down.

  3. Check your toast after a minute or two and make sure that you’ve got a nice crispy edge. Flip and let the other side toast for a minute and the remove from the heat and plate.

  4. On your toast, spread a layer of fig jam, about a teaspoon per piece.

  5. Next, layer your thinly sliced prosciutto on the toast, about 2 pieces per slice of toast.

  6. Thinly slice up your brie and arrange 3 slices on top of the prosciutto.

  7. Next we’re going to make our hot honey! Combine 2 tablespoons of honey with a shake of Smoked Paprika, Peperoncino and Salt. Stir well and then drizzle over your built toast.

  8. Slice and enjoy!

Buon Appetito!
